An amazing sermon!!!

Tonight Mom, Margaret-Mary and I went to the 5:30 Mass at the Birmingham Oratory, (I also went to the 10:30 with Dad, Maria and Elizabeth because Frances wasn't well enough to come.) Father Anton Guziel gave an amazing sermon! Here is what the second half went like roughly: (The first half was about the history of Corpus Christi.)

We are all too greedy with our time and watching TV and busying ourselves with household jobs takes priority in our lives rather than our eternal destination. In Poland 5,000 people processed for 2 .5 hours behind the Blessed Sacrament....Father said he could count on the fingers of one hand those who attend Vespers, or spend any time in front of the blessed Sacrament during the daily Holy Hours in the parish.

Father's sermon was powerfully challenging and as an immediate consequence, there were a lot of people who stayed behind after Mass for Vespers prayed in front of the Blessed Sacrament.

Thank you, Father Anton, for inspiring us and for one of the best sermons we have been given for a very long time!

Also Vespers was in front of the Blessed Sacrament exposed so no sitting down!
