Leek and potato soup!

As I am writing this I am making leek and potato soup! Winter is coming closer and there's nothing like a good hot bowl of soup to warm you up  Here is how you make leek and potato soup:

Ingredients,
2 large leeks,
3 medium potatoes,
2 medium onions,
2-3 stock cubes (add to taste),
A large knob of butter,
Water

Instructions
1. Put a large knob of butter in a medium-large saucepan on a medium heat.
2. Finely chop the onions, add them then slice the leeks and put them in giving the pan an occasional stir.
3. Peel and dice the potatoes and then add them.
4. Add boiling water so the pan is about 3/4 full and then add 2 stock cubes then taste it and add more to your taste.
5. Boil it for 20 minutes on a medium high heat so it boils but doesn't boil over!
6. Take it off the heat and let it cool off enough so you can blend it.
7. Blend it all up and then heat it up to a temperature that you like... serve it up and enjoy!
